Uniqueness Scan

The Uniqueness Scan feature allows you to search for the duplicate names that are present in a tree or in a selected Zone. To do this:

  1. Enter the following fields in the page:

Object Type (Base Class): Specify the type of the object you want to search.

Search All Aliases: Select this option if you want to search the aliases also.

Object Name: Specify the name of the object you want to search, in this field. By default, "*" is present in the field. It searches for all the objects (and the aliases also if you have selected Search All Aliases) in the specified container. You can search for objects starting with particular character(s) by specifying the character(s) followed by asterisk(*) in this field. You can also search for a particular object using the Object Selector icon.

Container: Specify the container, in which you want to search, in this field. You can search for the container using the Object Selector icon.

  2. Click Search. A list of objects is displayed in the Results pane.

  3. Click Close.
