Designer allows you to compare the Identity Vault schema in Designer with the schema in your production environment. Designer also provides conflict resolution on individual classes and attributes and allows you to view the differences between the existing and new values when importing and deploying the schema. To launch the Designer/eDirectory Schema Compare window:

Right-click the Identity Vault object in either the Modeler view or in the Outline view.

Select Live >Schema > Compare.
Compare shows whether the classes/attributes are equal (no action is necessary) or unequal. If they are unequal, you can choose not to reconcile them,
choose to update them in Designer, or choose to update them in eDirectory.
If you choose to reconcile the differences between the schema in Designer and the schema in eDirectory while in Compare, you do not need to do an Import or a Deploy operation.
The Global Configuration Values are now merged correctly when configuration from a configuration file is imported into an existing Driver Set. The GCVs
that are not merged while importing because of a conflict are reported in the final result dialog.
